Dance at AMVETS Nov. 26

NEW GLOUCESTER — A dance with music by Steve and the Good Ole Boys will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at AMVETS Post 6, Route 100.

Androscoggin Republicans to meet

AUBURN — The Androscoggin County Republican Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at the GOP campaign headquarters, 120 Center St.

All registered Republicans are invited to attend.

Members will be celebrating Election Day results with Thanksgiving pie. Attendees should bring a pie to share.

Tri-Town Penguins to meet

DURHAM — The Tri-Town Penguins Snowmobile Club of Durham, Freeport and Pownal will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Durham Fire Station, 615 Hallowell Road.

New members are welcome.

The club meets the last Tuesday of each month from September to April.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners on Nov. 14 were, first, Nancy Farmer and Luke Merry; second, Rosemarie Goodwin and Paul Sherman; third, Marta Clements and Hazel Glazier; and first in B, Paul Clement and Roger Labbe.

Winners on Nov. 15 were, first, Sharron Hinckley and Fred Letourneau; second, Jeanine Kivus and Patricia Quinn; third, Debra Gardner and Les Buzzell; fourth, Rosemarie Goodwin and Paul Clement; and first in B, Marta Clements and Dick Allen.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. All are welcome and a partner is guaranteed.
