LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library announces upcoming events for the month of December.

Preschool Story Time: 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. In addition to the regular Story Time schedule, Family Holiday Time will be Saturday, Dec. 10. A very merry Story Time will begin the day at 10:30 a.m. Crafts and games will be available until closing time at 2 p.m.

Lego Club: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17. Builders are welcome to make one of the suggested challenges or just get creative. The results will be displayed at the library until the next meeting.

Book Club: 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8. The club will begin its Civil War series with “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” by Harriet Beecher Stowe (the book is said to have had a hand in starting the war). Those people who need a copy of the book before the meeting should contact the library.

Teen Writers: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, and Tuesday, Dec. 20. This is for writers ages 12 to 18 who are just beginning to write or who want to learn about the publishing process.

The library will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 27, for the holidays.
