LEWISTON — The Holy Cross Knights of Columbus raised $660 for its Coats for Kids fundraiser during the November Take Out Beans supper. Garments will be distributed to local children.

The next Take Out Beans will served from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Holy Cross Church hall, 1080 Lisbon St.

Orders may be placed after noon the day of the supper.

Cost: Prices will range from $3 for a pint of beans to $10 for “the works” with a quart of beans.

RANGELEY — Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves will visit children during Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Conference Center at the Wilhelm Reich Museum on Dodge Pond Road.

Proceeds will benefit The Wilhelm Reich Museum’s scholarship program. A graduating senior from Rangeley Lakes Region School who is attending school to study in the field of science will receive a $500 scholarship.
