Local artisans will sell handmade goods and items.

There will be free crafts for children from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. while parents shop.

OTISFIELD — East Otisfield Free Baptist Church will hold a Christmas fair benefit its scholarship fund from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, on Rayville Road.

NEW GLOUCESTER — The annual Shaker Christmas Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, 707 Shaker Road.

Specialties include Shaker baked goods, including wheat bread, cinnamon-raisin bread, Sister Frances’ famous fruitcakes, fresh-baked herbal biscuits and cookies. Also available for sale will be Shaker culinary herbs and herbal teas, pickles, jellies, old-fashioned candy, maple syrup, cheese, woodenware, furniture, antiques, baskets, knit goods, toys, ornaments, decorated balsam wreaths, hot cider, fresh pressed apple cider and homemade doughnuts.

Lunch plates will be served.

Proceeds from the White Elephant Room, a second-time around garage sale, will benefit local food pantries.

LEWISTON — A holiday vendor fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at University of Southern Maine, Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster St.
