Share the Love Food Drive

AUBURN — SeniorsPlus will hold the Share the Love Food Drive for seniors in need from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at 774 Center St.

Foods gathered at the food drive will be used by SeniorsPlus to create emergency food packs of non-perishable foods for distribution to people in need suffering from hunger. SeniorsPlus serves through its Meals on Wheels program more than 96,000 meals annually to almost 800 individuals.

Lewiston Winter Farmers Market 

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Winter Farmers Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Sunday through February 2017 at the YWCA, 130 East Ave. 

The next market is Dec. 18. Dates in 2017 include Jan. 1, Jan. 15, Jan. 29, Feb. 12 and Feb. 26.

Cribbage league lists winners

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners on Dec. 8 were, first place, Don Haley; second, Bob Allen and George Bussiere; third, Sandy Oliver and Roland Bosse; fourth, Jim Burgess and Roger St. Pierre; and fifth, Roger Labbe and Cindy Boyd.

The Seniors play on Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.
