WATERBORO — Ret. Lt. Col. John C. Foster Jr. of Merrimack, N.H., died Friday, Dec. 9.
John served 34 years in the MeANG, retiring in 1999. During his tenure, he held positions of WSO, Sqn comptroller, comptroller State Headquarters, Augusta, commander, South Portland, and ARW comptroller.
John is survived by his three sisters, Fern Williamslibby, Ethel Dyer and her husband, John, and Berrita Foster.
