Key losses: Girls Becki Bryant, Madi Bumann, Shayna Frost.
Promising newcomers: Girls: Freshman — Bea Stewart.
Season outlook: The girls lost three strong seniors last year. This year’s team has less experience, so coach Chris Bryant is looking forward to seeing the skiers’ growth through the year. The Mustangs are expecting a lot of competition within the team because the girls are all starting at a similar level. With only four skiers, the lack of depth will make every skier important this year. The Monmouth boys do not have enough skiers for a full team. They are looking for strong results from junior Ethan Thombs in the conference and state meets.
