Key losses: Amber Delaney, Calleigh Norris, Chad Richards, Camden Noll, Gunnar Higgins, Ben Nichols, James Herlihy, Thomas Young, Anneka Dubord and Madison Lecowitch.
Promising newcomers: Boys: Senior —Bailey Morrill; Freshmen — Eugene Lindsey, Trent Gavin. Girls: Freshmen — Bailey Coates, Annabelle Collins.
Season outlook: Spruce Mountain’s Nordic team is in a developing stage. The Phoenix are working on recruiting greater numbers and working on the overall skill level for all of the skiers. More than half of the team does both Alpine and Nordic skiing. The combination of the techniques should work well in those skiers’ development. The Phoenix are looking to improve on their overall standings from last year.
