LYNN, Mass. — Derrick Scott Morrison, 36, of New Portland died Thursday, Dec. 1, at Lynn Union Hospital in Lynn, Mass.
Derrick was born in Lewiston on Sept. 1, 1980, a son of Jeffrey Morrison and Deanna Thomas. He attended Norway schools and Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
Derrick worked as a mason contractor for most of his working life and had also helped his father in the woods and pruning apple trees.
He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, hunting and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind his father of New Portland; his mother of Minot; a daughter, Demitria Morrison-Catalano of Harrison; two sisters, Kendra Morrison of Oxford and Jennifer Wilkie of Norway; and his brother, Jacob Morrison of New Portland.
