In the “Federalist Papers,” Alexander Hamilton spelled out clearly that one of the main justifications for the Electoral College was protection from interference in elections from foreign powers; and it was revealed that Russia allegedly had a direct influence in Donald Trump’s victory.
How is it at all ethical (or legal) for the electors to support him?
I don’t care whether you are a Democrat, Republican or Independent — if you are not gravely concerned about the information that Russia may have hacked the election, you truly don’t know the first thing about patriotism or being an American.
This is not a left or right issue — it is an American issue, involving blatant espionage connected to an American president-elect.
Washington officials and the media need to use every resource available to force a bipartisan investigation and strong arm Trump into releasing his tax returns, which might shed light on his ties to one of the most brutal dictators alive today.
