1917 – 2016
FARMINGTON — Marie L. (Doiron) Henry, 99, died Sunday morning, Dec. 11, at Pinewood Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Farmington, where she had been a resident for more than five years.
She was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Philias and Lucy (Barriault) Doiron. She married John E. Henry on April 10, 1944, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. Her husband of 47 years predeceased her in March 1991.
Marie was a loving wife, mother and sister her entire life.
She is survived by her son, John W. “Bill” Henry and his spouse, Sharon, of Kaneohe, Hawaii; a brother, George Doiron and his spouse, Fern, of Jay; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Henry-Fickling of Irmo, S.C.; as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by six siblings, Steven, Anthony, Camille, Peter, Alice and Roseanne.
