End of semester computer sale

AUBURN — CMCC is holding its end of semester computer sale with computers cleaned by the school’s IT department and ready for use at $100 each.

The sale is first-come-first-serve, and computers are being offered as-is without support from CMCC or manufacturer warranty.

Computers may be purchased visiting Heather Seymour between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday in Room J409. Exact cash amounts and credit cards will be accepted. 

All proceeds will benefit the Central Maine Community College Education Foundation, which provides scholarships to students.

Cold Paws, Warm Heart winners 

LEWISTON — Steven Dostie, executive director of the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, has announced the winners of the “Cold Paws, Warm Heart” annual raffle.

With over $11,500 in tickets sales, the grand prize winner is Pat Reny of Lewiston, who won $600 of home heating assistance.

First Auburn Seniors to meet 

LEWISTON — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Green Ladle for a Christmas dinner and surprise entertainment. A ticket is required to attend.

There were 34 members present at the last meeting. Attendance winners were Roy Tassinari and Paula Mikkelsen; Pot of Gold, Lucy Cowles, Diane Vincent and Sally Gagnon; and, 50/50, Carol LePage, Sally Gagnon and Barbara Willis.

Tri-Town Penguins to meet

DURHAM — The Tri-Town Penguins Snowmobile Club of Durham, Freeport and Pownal meets at 7 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month, September to April, at the Durham Fire Station, 615 Hallowell Road.

The next meeting will be Dec. 27. New members are always welcome.

Cribbage league lists results

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners on Dec. 15 were, first place, Lorraine Labbe and Alan Treworgy; second, Maurice Fournier and Roger St. Pierre; third, Jim Burgess and Carol Laplante; fourth, Dick Saucier and Dick Cloutier; and, fifth, Bob Laplante and Val Madore.

The seniors play on Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.
