I write in response to James McKinley’s letter to the editor (Dec. 14).

Back in November, students at Lisbon High School put on the play “Beauty and the Beast.” Three-year-olds were invited to sit on the floor in front of the stage and watch a performance. They were very well behaved.

The students rehearsed for hours on end, putting their hearts and souls into it. Costumes, scenery — all made by students and Ms. Jennifer Fox.

There is so much talent in all of the area high schools.

By the way, Lisbon High School students were the One-Act Play state champions last year.
