Legion Post 22 to meet

LEWISTON — American Legion Post 22 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.

TURNER — Local singer-songwriter Kevin Libby will perform country-style music from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at First Universalist Church on Route 117. 

Admission is $5 at the door. 

Immigration officer drop-in hours

LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Library will host immigration services officers from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

The officers will hold a free open office session for individuals from the community with any questions about the U.S. immigration process.

From 10 a.m. to noon, the officers will be available in a second-floor study room for one-on-one meetings. Drop-ins are welcome; no appointments are necessary.

Services provided include customer inquiries, case status for pending applications, and general information about naturalization, citizenship, permanent residence, and asylum/refugee information.

Cribbage league lists winners

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners on Jan. 12 were, first place, Don Haley and Dick Saucier; second, Bob Oliver and Pauline Quimby; third, Bob Laplante and Terry Lefebvre; fourth, Bob Cielinski and Roger St. Pierre; and fifth, Roger Labbe and Dwight Webb.

The Seniors play on Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.
