Auburn Rec Bermuda cruise

AUBURN — The Auburn Rec Department is organizing a seven-day cruise to Bermuda on the Norwegian Dawn, leaving from Boston Harbor on Friday, May 5, and returning on Friday, May 12. Transportation is provided from Pettengill Park, leaving at 10 a.m. Once in Boston, travelers will board the ship and depart from Boston Harbor at 5 p.m.

A U.S. passport or birth Certificate and state picture identification are required; this is international travel. Prices will include choice of cabin, port charges, taxes and required gratuity for the cruise. Those interested may contact the Auburn Recreation department for cabin details and prices.

There will be a one-time $55 registration fee per person, to cover transportation to and from Boston, payable at the time of registration at the Auburn Rec Department.

An initial deposit of $250 will be due to Norwegian Cruise Lines at the time of registration, and payment in full is due by Feb. 4.

Coat Room to warm the Hills 

OXFORD — The Coat Room will be open for the season from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays in Oxford Plaza Mall. 

A program of RightStart in Norway, the Coat Room provides free coats to the community. Family members should come together for one coat, hat, pair of gloves and ski pants per person, based on availability. Applications for coats are not necessary.

Donations of coats of all sizes may be taken to the Coat Closet or to Norway Laundry on Paris Street in Norway.

Lewiston Winter Farmers Market 

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Winter Farmers Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Sunday through February 2017 at the YWCA, 130 East Ave.

Aqua KickBoxing at YWCA

LEWISTON — The YWCA has announced the return of Aqua Kickboxing.

Aqua Kickboxing brings the fundamentals of kickboxing to the water for an energetic blend of traditional aqua aerobics set to upbeat music.

The course will offers a no-contact form of kickboxing that provides a full-body cardio workout. There is no experience necessary to join. Aqua Kickboxing will be taught by instructor, Millie Kidd, who holds a Black Belt in Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo.

Aqua Kickboxing will cost $8 per class for non-members. No registration is required, and drop-ins are welcome.

Aqua Kickboxing will meet three times a week at the YWCA: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 to 11 a.m. Fridays.
