Crafters sought for craft fair
LEWISTON — Lewiston Recreation Department is seeking vendors for the third annual Lewiston Recreation Artisan and Craft Fair.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave.

Maine Blues Musicians’ Scholarships
LISBON FALLS — Maine-based blues musicians recently donated $2,000 to Lisbon Falls High School for the 2017 Maine Blues Musicians’ Scholarships. The scholarships are awarded in the spring to graduating seniors at Lisbon High School.
The money is raised by fundraisers and performances by blues musicians at the Worumbo Blues Festival, a Maine Blues Festival production held each year in Lisbon Falls.
This year’s blues performers included the Larry Peterson Blues Project, Blues in the Works, members of Downeast Soul Coalition, Poke Chop and the Other White Meats, and Blue Steel Express.

First Auburn Seniors to meet
AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday, Feb. 1. The board meeting will be held at 10 a.m. followed by the regular meeting at 11 a.m.
Those attending should bring a bag lunch and a coffee cup.
Tickets will be on sale for the Valentine’s Day lunch of beans and hot dogs for $5 each.
There were 50 members in attendance at the last meeting. The Charles Morse Award was presented to Bruce Macomber for services beyond his duties. The attendance winners were David LePage and June McGuinley; Pot of Gold, Pat Records, Annie Demers and Bee Brooks; and, 50/50, Jeannin Cyr and Lucy Cowles.
