1935 – 2017

HARTFORD — Charles Posik, 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Charlie was born Dec. 7, 1935, in Flushing, N.Y. He married Sharon K. Blair on Sept. 6, 1964. He worked at Cape Canaveral for Boeing in Florida and worked at International Paper Co. in Jay for 29 years. He was known and loved everywhere he went.

He is survived by two sisters and leaves behind four children, Jim and Joanne Posik of Turner, Sharon and Andy Jordan of Sabattus, Charles and Pam Posik of Taylor Mill, Ky., and Mitch and Darlene Posik of Turner; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife of 29 years, Sharon, in 1992.

Interment will be in the spring at Leeds Cemetery.
