AUBURN — The Edward Little High School Drama Club presents “The Hope and Heartache Diner,” written by Lindsay Price, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m., at Auburn Middle School.
The play tells the humorous story of a teen, Felix, who is working his last day at his family’s diner before going to college. Watch past and present collide as Felix tells the stories of the diner with the help of his relatives, both dead and alive.
But what happens when the diner closes?
The show is directed by E.L. seniors Isabel Bassett and Sophie Mailhot..
The cast includes: Maxwell Draper, Olivia Dubois, Dominique Cyr, Mason Lagasse, Jeannie Doherty, Sam Morrison, David Ballard, Sophie Messina, Carter Shaw, Abby Hart, Maureen Brann, Brenna Eastman, Danica Hemond, Jordan Reynolds, Khadijiah Kagoni, Gabe Sears, Donovan Shaw, Annabelle Pendleton, Autumn Chapman, Rosa Doherty, Eli Latham, Tabitha Douglas, Abdi Jibril, Devki Gelder, and Dylan Miller. Zach Gagné is handling lighting and Melissa Pawlina and Kaleb Perry are doing sound. Katherine Gilpatrick is the stage manager.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.
