1943 – 2017

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Marsha Louise Harris Tarrh, 73, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, at Springside Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, Pittsfield, Mass., after a long illness.

Marsha was born on Aug. 24, 1943, in Lewiston, the daughter of Jack and Marion (Stowell) Harris. She grew up in Auburn, graduating from Edward Little High School in 1961. She graduated from the University of Maine in 1965 with a bachelor’s degree in education. She was employed as a French teacher in her earlier years and spent many years as an accountant with various companies in the Boston area. Marsha married John Tarrh, in 1975. They were divorced in 1988.

She is survived by her brother, Brian, wife, Janice (Baril), of Winthrop; brother, John, wife, Sheila (Buckley), of Framingham, Mass.; and nephews, Scott and Steven Harris; and nieces Julie and Betsy Harris.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Michael Corpuz; and her parents.
