NEW GLOUCESTER — Wes Davis of New Gloucester has joined the board of directors of the Androscoggin Land Trust. The Androscoggin Land Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, through land conservation and stewardship, the important natural areas, traditional landscapes and outdoor experience in the Androscoggin River watershed.

The land trust currently conserves approximately 5,000 acres of land, including more than 10 miles of riverfront along the Androscoggin River. Its current strategic focus includes conserving areas of ecological importance, working farms and forests and the promotion of outdoor experiences on and around the Androscoggin River Greenway.

Davis has a passion for preserving Maine’s natural beauty and ensuring access to everyone for generations to come. He loves getting outdoors, whether it is hiking, biking, skiing or being out on the water.

He works as a financial adviser in Auburn.
