LEWISTON — The Union of Maine Visual Artists LA Chapter and the Downtown Lewiston Art District will present a show, For the Love of Art, from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at five venues.
The event is free and open to the public. Each venue will have refreshments and floral designs from Sweet Pea Designs and Blais Flower Shop.
The venues are:
* Wicked Illustrations, 140 Canal St. Theme is petals. Art from residents, chocolate from Ella’s Chocolates, roses from Blais and chair Massage from Pelletier’s Healing Hands.
* The Studio, 291 Lisbon St. Theme is pleasure (adult content), art from residents, massage from All 4 you Integrated Wellness.
* L/A Arts, 221 Lisbon St. Theme is Love LA: The Year in Scenic Images from the Sun Journal. Showing alongside the Maine Professional Photographers Association, The HeArt of Photography, chair massage from Rachel Larrivee and Megan Baril.
* Kimball Street Studios, 191 Lisbon St., Theme is remember. Art from residents, chocolate from Petites Bites, chair massage from Renew You! Massage, and yoga with Sarah Goodrich, LMT.
* The Hive, 178 Lisbon St., Theme is sweetness with art from residents, massage by Joe Harrigan, music by Jonah Chasse, chocolate from Bella’s Sweet Treats.
