AUBURN — June Crossley Marshall went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 3, at the Hospice House in Auburn.
She was born in Johnson, Vt., on June 20, 1927, daughter of the Rev. Herbert Crossley and Hilda Maria Pybus Crossley. She graduated from BMC Durfee High School in Fall River, Mass., and Central Maine General Hospital in Lewiston. While in training, she belonged to the Nurse Cadet Corps and for many years worked as a private duty R.N. and then as R.N. consultant at Sarah Frye Home. On May 14, 1954, she married Charles S. Marshall.
She is survived by her loving family: husband, Charles; children, Bruce E. Marshall and wife, Sharon, of Lisbon Falls, Bren M. Norwood and husband, Dan, of Ellsworth; five grandchildren, Clinton Marshall and his wife, Susie, and their four children Colby, MacKenzie, Shaylee and Aili, of Cumberland, R.I., Dr. Elisabeth Marshall of Portland, Kathryne Kennedy and son, Lorcan, of Lisbon Falls, Cpl. Vaughn Hitchcock USMC, presently stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C., and his wife Makayla, and Zeke Hitchcock of Ellsworth.
She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Esther Vaughn.
