AUBURN — Kenneth H. “Kenny” Constantine, 79, of Livermore died Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Hospice House and has now gone home to be with his Lord and Savior.

He was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Livermore Falls, the son of William Constantine and Vera (Jackman) Robinson. His stepfather, Leland Robinson, came into his life at a young age. Educated locally, he was brought up by his grandparents in Fayette. He worked in the woods for a time, but his love was driving trucks, both locally and on the road. He was a clever storyteller and would always have a tale to tell his family when he returned from a trip. Ken knew what a day’s work was and did it without complaint. He enjoyed camping and traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada.

He is survived by his wife, Norma (Adams) Constantine, whom he married Dec. 31, 1975, (he wanted the tax exemption for the year). He also is survived by his children, Prudy Constantine and partner, Ray Pomerleau, of Canton; Colby Ryder of Wilton; Tammy Constantine of Lewiston; Dennis Ryder and his wife, Marcy, of West Paris; Kevin Ryder and his wife, Fikile, of Pueblo, Colo.; Kirt Constantine of Eustis; grandchildren, MaryJane, Jonathan and Leslie Constantine, Andy and Jamie Ryder, Lacey, Wyatt, and Wade Ryder, Jonathan, Liam and Kian Ryder, Christopher, Blair, Starland and Kegan; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters, Debra Bacheller and Silvia Burnett.

Tributes and condolences may be shared on his memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com.
