I always enjoy the letters to the editor of the Sun Journal. I have, on occasion, written one myself. In my letters, I have tried to explain my thinking on a specific issue, such as the proposed turning lane on Court Street.

Lately, I marvel at the frequency of letters from several people that harp on their political beliefs. I wonder how often a person’s letters may appear in the Sun Journal. It is great that people have opinions and the letters platform in which to express them, but how often is too often.

Editor’s note: The Sun Journal policy limits letter writers to one letter every 30 days, with the date of publication being the start of the next cycle (not the date of reception).
