Atherton Furniture Co. employes banqueted in the new music room of the Lewiston store, Thursday night, following which a theater party was enjoyed. The room had been especially decorated in keeping with the Valentine season, the place cards being small valentines. Festoons of white and pink were prettily draped and the shading of lights added to the beauty of the effect. The banquet which was served at 6:15 p.m. was prepared by Atherton people on Glenwood ranges and it was served by the corps of men waiters from the working force in charge of John Thornton. Forty people were served to the following menu: clam chowder, dot crackers, celery, pickles, roast beef, mashed potato, squash, ice-cream, cake and candy.
