Auburn resident attends UN Members’ Day
NEW YORK — Bruno Yomoah of Auburn joined over 1,200 Americans for the United Nations Association of the United States of America’s annual Members’ Day on Feb. 17.
It was the largest assembly of Americans gathered in support of the United Nations. It was held at the United Nations in New York City.
Retired Educators to meet
MECHANIC FALLS — The Androscoggin Retired Educators’ Association will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the Village Pizzeria, 16 Pleasant St.

First Auburn Senior Citizens to meet
AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, for a regular meeting. The board meeting will be held at at 10 a.m.
The Seniors will have a Valentine’s lunch with beans and hot dogs, which was postponed from Feb. 15. Those attending should bring utensils and a coffee cup.
The Seniors will play bingo.
There were 29 members present at the last meeting. Attendance winners were David LePage and Carol LePage; Pot of Gold, Mary Tassinari, Bob Laverty and Lydia Martineau; and, 50/50, Annie Demers, Leroy Walker and Bruce Macomber.
