FARMINGTON — Regional School Unit 9 students will have half a day of school Friday, March 17.
It had been scheduled as a teacher workshop day.
“Due to the fact that we need the workshop day on Friday for staff development and with the potential storm day on Wednesday, we are going with a half student day in the morning on Friday, and a half workshop day in the afternoon,” Superintendent Tom Ward said.
Mt. Blue Middle and High school students will be released at 11:30 a.m. and elementary school students will follow at 12:30 p.m.
It will count as a student day.
The district had used six snow days as of Monday.
