PARIS — School officials are inviting parents and others to a visioning session on the future of the Oxford Hills School District.
Billed as a Community Conversation, it will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 27, at the Oxford Hills Middle School library on Pine Street.
District Curriculum Director Heather Manchester said the session is an attempt to draw the community at large into the conversation of what success and learning will look like in the future and what the district and families can do to support students.
The district includes the towns of Paris, Norway, Oxford, Otisfield, Hebron, Harrison, Waterford and West Paris.
Refreshments will be served and child care is available. Those attending are asked to call 207-743-5946.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
