Marine Corps League to Meet
LEWISTON — Marine Corps League Central Maine Detachment 810 will host its monthly meeting at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 30, at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.
All U.S. Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and U.S. Navy chaplains are invited. Anyone interested in Marines helping veterans may also attend.
COLAC Meeting, March 30
AUBURN — There will be a meeting of the Coalition Opposed to Lewiston-Auburn Consolidation at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 30, at the Sixth Street Congregational Church in New Auburn.
Light refreshments will be available.
OES Officer Installation
AUBURN — A new slate of officers for the Pine Cone Chapter No. 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will be installed at 7 p.m., Friday, March 31, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
Mary Ann Perkins will be installed Worthy Matron, and Bret Jervis will be installed Grand Sentinel, Worthy Patron.
Corley Ann Byras, Past Grand Matron, Grand Secretary Emeritus, will be the Installing Matron, assisted by Installing Patron, Newell Farrington, Past Grand Patron General, Grand Chapter Committee Member on Youth.
Refreshments will be served in the dining hall, after the installation. All Eastern Star, Masons, and anyone interested in learning about the Order of the Eastern Star are welcome to attend.
