LEWISTON — Orchestre Symphonique Curva Via, made up of 38 young musicians from Courbevoie, France (5 miles from the center of Paris), will be performing in a free concert at the Gendron Franco Center on Sunday, April 9 at 2 p.m. The doors and bar will open at 1 p.m.
In 2009, Laurent Brack founded the Orchestre des pupils of the Conservatoire de Courbevoie which later became the Symphonic Orchestre Curva Via. Brack and the orchestra will be joined in the concert by members of the Lewiston High School Chorus and other area young singers.
The high school-aged members of the orchestra are in need of host families to provide bed and board on the nights of April 7, 8 and 9. Anyone available and interested can call or email Jacynthe Jacques at 783.1585 or [email protected]
