ROXBURY — Lucille “Lorrie” Hodsdon, 68, died Tuesday, March 28, at her residence on Roxbury Notch Road in Roxbury.

Born in Rumford on April 21, 1948, she was a daughter of Elmer and Dorothy (O’Leary) Jones Sr. She was a graduate of Mexico High School. Lorrie worked as a food service director for SAD 21 and as a head cook for Head Start in Rumford, until her retirement.

Lorrie adored her grandchildren. She loved traveling with her family and was very social. She will be missed by all. To know her was to love her.

Lorrie globe-trotted with her U.S. Air Force family for 16 years and was married in Woodbridge, England, on Dec. 7, 1968, to Roscoe Hodsdon, who survives of Roxbury.

Other survivors include two sons, Roy Hodsdon and his wife, Renee, of Roxbury and Ray Hodsdon and his fiancée, Pam Dyment, of Roxbury; two brothers, Elmer Jones Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Texas and Steven Jones of Maine; two daughters-in-law, Amy Hodsdon of Roxbury and Karen Hodsdon of Mexico; 10 grandchildren; and her extended family of “Sista/Cousins.”
