RUMFORD — Paul Linwood Kennedy, 76, passed away Friday, March 17, at Rumford Hospital.

He was born to Evelyn Ruth (Record) Kennedy Buswell and Freeman D. Kennedy on July 2, 1940, in Oxford. Paul attended schools in South Paris. He had a love of music, especially traditional country music. He loved singing, playing the guitar and the piano. He was very skilled in woodworking and he enjoyed making special gifts, including bookshelves, night stands and other shelving for his loved ones.

Paul lived with his mother until her passing on April 7, 1994. For the next 18 years, he lived with his cousin, Elton Record and his family at their home. When his health deteriorated, he moved to the Rumford Community Home in Rumford where he resided for the next five years until being moved to Rumford Hospital where he passed away.

Paul is survived by one uncle, Edwin Herbert Record of South Paris; and many cousins.
