
AUBURN — Police on Thursday were searching for a suspect accused of threatening a Domino’s pizza clerk with a knife during a failed robbery.
Police said the suspect became startled and fled on foot before any money was handed over in the 1:30 p.m. heist at Domino’s store at 62 School St.
No one was hurt.
The suspect was described as a white man wearing a tan New England Patriots hat, a blue sweatshirt and tan cargo pants. Witnessed described him as having dark hair and an untidy beard.
Police were canvassing the School Street area as the heist was being investigated later Thursday afternoon.
Anyone with information about the stick-up is asked to call Auburn police at 333-6650.
