‘Diabetes Meal Planning & Cooking’

LEWISTON — The Ark & Olive Branch Cafe will present “Diabetes Meal Planning & Cooking” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at 791 Lisbon St. 

The event will be a demonstration with Martin Miller, certified diabetes educator.

It is free, but registration is required.

Registration open for wellness conference

LEWISTON — Maine College of Health Professionals has opened registration for its Wellness Conference, which will be held Saturday, June 17. 

Topics will include aromatherapy, dreams, homeopathy, Reiki, spirituality, crystals, sound, and movement.

The conference is open to the public. MCHP recommends early registration because space is limited.
