LEWISTON — Creative Artisans of Maine at Provenchers has announced its upcoming Festival of Learning events. All classes will be held at 299 River Road.

Creative Artisans of Maine is a select group of talented local artists and craftspeople working together in one location.

Chocolate Making — Just in Time for Easter: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8. Participants will make three different kinds of chocolates using peanut butter, caramel and coconut fillings and take their chocolates home in nicely packaged in a pottery dish by Muddy Toes Pottery. Instructor: Ella Raibert of Ella’s Chocolates. Tuition: $25. 

Essential Oils 101: 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8. Students will learn about essential oil safety, how oils are produced and common methods of use. Participants will also learn to create a more natural, healthy, lifestyle with aromatherapy. Included in the class will be a sample of a featured oil for participants to take home, along with making an essential oil necklace diffuser. Instructor: Cheryl Horton. Tuition: $12.

Jewelry Making — Memory Wire Bracelet: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8. Students in this class will make two-coil bracelets utilizing various gemstones, charms and glass and metal beads. Students will also learn how to finish off the ends. Instructor: Lisa Marshall. Cost: $30. 

Parchment Craft: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturdays, April 15, 22 and 29. Parchment craft, also known as Pergamano, is the art of embellishing and decorating parchment paper, through the use of techniques such as embossing, perforating, stippling, cutting and coloring. Once participants have learned basic techniques, they can continue developing the craft in an advance, weekly, two-hour card class, held 1 to 3 p.m. every Saturday, for $12 a class. Instructor: certified Pergamano instructor Martha Levesque, Parchment Treasures. Cost: $25 per class. 

Learn to Make a Succulent Terrarium: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 22. Participants will create a beautiful succulent planter. Succulent plants are low-maintenance plants. They will be able to decorate their terrarium with a variety of sands and fairy garden miniatures. Instructor: Celeste Yakawonis, Party’n With Plants Maine. Cost: $25. 

Container Gardening: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 22. Students will learn all aspects of growing vegetable and flowers in containers, from choosing the container, soil, plants and their culture. They will take home a planter of their choice. Instructor: Roger Roberge. Cost: $20.
