Firefighters extinguished a dryer fire in the basement of a home at 5 Lakeshore Drive in Canton on Thursday afternoon, Deputy Chief Jason Vaughan said. The call came in about 3:30 p.m. and firefighters had it under control by 4 p.m. No one was hurt. Personnel from Peru, Dixfield, Mexico and Livermore assisted.
Firetrucks from Canton, Dixfield, Mexico, Livermore and Peru responded to a dryer fire at 5 Lakeshore Drive in Canton on Thursday afternoon. No one was injured, Canton Deputy Chief Jason Vaughn said.
