WALES — The Regional School Unit 4 board of directors announces Kathy Martin is the new director of curriculum, instruction and assessment. Her new contract runs two years.
Martin is principal of the district’s two pre-K through second grade schools, Libby-Tozier in Litchfield and Sabattus Primary in Sabattus. She will take over July 1 for Andrew Carlton, who has been named superintendent.
Martin’s past experience includes three years as principal in RSU 4 and more than 12 years of teaching elementary school in Auburn.
She lives in Lewiston with her husband and two children.
