BETTENDORF, Iowa — Claire V. (Jones) Behrends passed away Saturday, March 25, in Bettendorf, Iowa, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Claire was born in Lewiston on Jan. 30, 1947, the daughter of the late Noella (Philippon) and Antoine Jones. In November 1969, she married Larry Behrends and they resided in various places before finally settling in the Davenport, Iowa, area.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, living in Eldridge, Iowa; their son, Andrew and his wife, Brycee, who reside in Virginia; brother, Robert Jones of Brunswick; and sister, Helen Grace of Turner; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her predeceased parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Daniel.
