The Maine Legislature honors the Monmouth Academy Girls Basketball Team with a Legislative Sentiment for winning the Class C State Championship. The basketball State Championship win is the first in the school’s history. A Legislative Sentiment is a significant expression by the Legislature in recognition of civic and public achievements.
