Season outlook: Last year, the Cougars were unable to fill all seven spots and only had a full slate for two of 12 matches, which accounts for the 1-11 record. They recruited hard all winter to get a full team this season. Dirigo has had a long, successful history of girls’ tennis until recently. Art Chamberlain is excited to have this group to work with. He thinks that the Cougars can build a team that will be respected again in the MVC. Their goal is to strive for a winning season.
