FARMINGTON — The Farmington Public Library and Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset counties have announced the winners of this spring’s poetry contest.
Winners of each age categories are:
Ages 0 to 10: Owen Knapp, first place; Henri McCourt, second; and Madi Sutton, third.
Ages 11 to 17: Jaidyn Stewart, first; Zion Lawrence, second; and Grace Willingham, third.
Ages 18 to 25: Chenoa Jackson, first; and Mikayla Brown, second and third.
Ages 26 and older: Kelly Sterns, first; anonymous, second place; and Lisa Panori.
Leah Kuehn judged the entries.
Winning poems will be read on Thursday, April 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Farmington Public Library. All are welcome to attend.
