SABATTUS — Beverly Ann Adams Derocher of Sabattus died Friday, April 21, at her home in Sabattus, with her family at her side.

Beverly was born May 12, 1954, in Lewiston, the daughter of Byron C. Adams Jr. and Yvette Allen Adams. She attended St. Patrick’s School and Lewiston High School, graduating in 1973.

Beverly worked for Liberty Mutual in Lewiston for 18 years after which she returned to school at Mid State College and received an associate degree as a certified medical assistant. The next few years she worked for Dr. Sylvester and Dr. Margaret Matthews, retiring in the fall of 2015. Beverly loved to work hard and play hard and lived her life to the fullest.

She leaves behind her first love and husband of 27 years, Michael Derocher; and her two cats, Leo and Buddy. She also leaves behind four sisters, Anne and Roger LaPlante of Lewiston, Cheryl and Bob Jordan of Charlotte, N.C., Diane and Bruce Clukey of Lisbon Falls, Elaine and Lee Chateauvert of Lewiston; two nieces, Cindy LaPlante and Catherine Clukey; four nephews, Matt and Brenda Chateauvert of Kennebunk, Brian Chateauvert of Lewiston, Kevin LaPlante and wife, Lisa, of Lewiston, Adam Clukey of Lisbon Falls; and two great-nephews, Dustin LaPlante and Hunter LaPlante.
