Daughters of Isabella events

RUMFORD — St. Timothy’s Circle No. 504, Daughters of Isabella, will celebrate the 87th anniversary with a banquet following the 9:30 a.m. mass on Sunday, May 7, at Gatch’s.

Dinner will be served at 11:30 a.m. and will cost $15. Check should be mailed to Jan Hooley, 13 Wiken Roadd, Peru, ME 04290. Chairpersons are Sharon Gates and Jan Hooley. Committee members are Donna Gilbert, Lily Burns, and Barbara Pelletier.

The Daughters of Isabella will sell carnations for the Right to Life after the 4 p.m. Mass on Saturday, May 13, and after the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14.

Longtime members who will be congratulated are Patricia Gautreau for 63 years, and Elizabeth Dumoulin for 49 years.

No regular meeting is scheduled for May.

Greene Baptist Church spring picnic 

GREENE — The Greene Baptist Church invites will host its spring picnic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at 102 Main Street.

There will be games and crafts aplenty for the whole family.

Treasure seekers are invited to the yard giveaway, where everything is free for the taking. The free clothes closet will be open as well.

Food will be provided, and the event is held rain or shine.

St. Anne Sodality to meet

LEWISTON — The Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Holy Family will host their annual dinner in celebration of the Sodalist of the Year at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at the Green Ladle on East Avenue.

The doors will be opened at 5:30 p.m.

There will be Door Prizes and 50/50 and the Entertainment will be provided by Louis Phillip.

The cost is $18.
