The Buttons for Babes Giving Circle is an independent group, made up of area residents, that makes bracelets out of recycled buttons. Donations for bracelets benefit children in Greater Franklin County through designated gifts to the United Way. Recently, $500 was designated to the Franklin County Children’s Task Force through United Way. When asked why the Giving Circle was supporting the task force, Chris Bourassa said, “Because it’s all about the kids and the need. They are loved and they need to be treated with love.” Bourassa, left, is pictured with task force Executive Director Renee Whitley. FMI: [email protected], 207-860-8579, Facebook.com/Buttons4Babes.
