LEWISTON — Eleanor Boydak Rolerson, 89, formerly of 38 Walker Ave., Lewiston, and a resident of Schooner Estates in Auburn for the past year, died Monday, May 8, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Born in Lewiston on March 26, 1928, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Czastska) Boydak. She grew up in New Auburn, and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of ’47. On July 23, 1949, she married Grover E. Rolerson. Mr. Rolerson passed away March 21, 2002. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a school secretary at Farwell Elementary, Lewiston Junior High and Montello Junior High schools.

A member of Auburn United Methodist Church, she also belonged to the Robin Dow Seniors and several other senior organizations. She enjoyed gardening and animals, sewing and knitting, trips to the seashore, visits with friends and playing cards; but most of all, she loved her time with her children. In her younger years, she also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Aruba and Florida with her husband.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Mark Rolerson and wife, Celine, of Casco; a daughter, Mary, and husband, Donald Hebert, of Kennebunk; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth and husband, Kyle von Hasseln, of Los Angeles, Marcy Rolerson and husband, Daniel Lake, of Boston, Scott Hebert of Phoenixville, Pa., and Brian Hebert of Bend, Ore.
