The Oasis of Music at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St., Lewiston, will host singer and multi-instrumentalist Stan Davis from 12:30 to 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 10. Davis performs a mix of traditional and original songs — from the blues to lyrical hymns about modern country life. He weaves storytelling, intricate guitar playing, and evocative lyrics full of poetic imagery. He also plays in the duo Hurry Down Sunshine, and in a four-piece band named Some Assembly Required.
