RANGELEY — The third annual Helping Elders Live in Place Seniors Expo will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the Rangeley Inn, Main Street.
Exhibitors will represent organizations in home health, transportation, emergency services, adult respite care and finance.
Guest speakers will include:
• Martha Currier, complaint examiner with the Maine Attorney General’s Office, 9 a.m. — Currier will discuss “Scams to Look Out For.” Her presentation is based on the 12,000 consumer complaints the Attorney General’s Office handles each year in Maine.
• Deborah Cartwright with SeniorsPlus, 10 a.m. — Cartwright will review and discuss Medicare basics.
• Mary Richards with SeniorsPlus and Heather Reed, PT with Ascent Rangeley Lakes Rehab, 11 a.m. — Richard and Reed will present information on fall prevention and balance issues.
