SOUTH PARIS — Ruth Wisser, 95, of Hope died Monday, May 8, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.
She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 27, 1921, the daughter of Elwin and Adaline Bazinett Cox. She married Dale Wisser; he passed away March 19, 1996. She had been a self-employed dressmaker for many years.
She is survived by her children, Frank Wisser and wife, Julie, of Salem, N.H., Jim Wisser and wife, Cindy, of West Paris and Pam Cota and husband, Allen, of Hope; three grandchildren, Nick Cota, Jimmy Wisser and Jenna Wisser; a sister, Barbara Hancock, of Oxford; and a brother, Walter Cox, of Sabattus.
