FARMINGTON — The public is invited to an open house celebrating completion of three modular apartment buildings at 106 Sawtelle Lane.
An 82 High Street Inc. open house is planned from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 18. Tours of the new buildings, speakers and refreshments are planned.
This is the third phase of an improvement project at the mobile home and apartment complex. The first phase, completed in 2012, involved rehabilitating 17 mobile homes. The second phase involved new water and sewer lines.
The nonprofit, 82 High Street, is governed by a 15-member board. The board consists of three tenants, representatives from six churches, a town representative, four community members and representatives from Western Maine Community Action.
