PARIS — Oxford County commissioners voted 3-0 to appoint Dana Dillingham as jail administrator, replacing Ed Quinn, who is retiring at the end of May.
County Administrator Scott Cole said commissioners held an executive session May 11, and following a brief discussion, agreed to hire Dillingham.
Dillingham, 46, lives in Oxford and has worked at the jail since 1999 as an operations officer.
He has also served in the U.S. Army and was active in the community as a former youth basketball, softball, basketball and soccer coach.
Quinn, who has worked at the jail since 1980 and served in the jail administrator position since 2010, submitted his retirement letter to the commissioners in March, with his last day set for the end of May.
